The following terms and conditions apply to all Rise Gatherings experiences. For terms and conditions specific to the experience you are purchasing please refer below.

In consideration for my participation in any live, in-person, or virtual Rise Gatherings experiences (the “Program”), and the monies paid in connection therewith, I, the undersigned Participant, hereby agree as follows:

The content provided during any Program is provided for information purposes only and is not a substitute for professional advice and consultation, including professional medical advice and consultation; it is provided with the understanding that Rise Gatherings is not engaged in the provision or rendering of medical advice or services. The advice and opinions expressed during any Program are specific to the individual facilitators, and are based upon their unique circumstances and backgrounds. The Programs are intended to provide general information only to a wide viewing audience. For advice appropriate to your specific situation, please consult a local professional. You understand and agree that Rise Gatherings shall not be liable for any claim, loss, or damage arising out of the use of, or reliance upon any content or information received during any Program.

By clicking the box at checkout I indicate that I have read these Terms & Conditions and am agreeing to them freely. I fully understand the legal consequences of signing this document, including (a) assuming the risks associated with my participation in the Program and any events incidental to the Program, (b) releasing Rise Gatherings from all liability, (c) waiving my right to sue Rise Gatherings, and (d) permitting Rise Gatherings to use photographs and/or videos taken of me during the Program for any purpose. My involvement in the Program and my execution of this Agreement are wholly voluntary and I elect to participate in spite of the risks.

If I am purchasing more than one unit (i.e. ticket, course, item, etc.), my consent indicates the agreement of everyone in my group to the Terms and Conditions.

Communication

I agree to receive email communications from Rise Gatherings and the workshop facilitator of any workshops for which I register myself.

Participation

I am voluntarily participating in the Program and all events incidental to the Program. Although the Program is designed to provide a safe level of beneficial exercise and enjoyment, I understand that there are risks associated with my participation therewith, including, but not limited to physical and/or psychological injury, pain, suffering, illness, disfigurement, temporary or permanent disability, death or economic loss. These risks may arise from my own or other’s actions, inactions and negligence and from the condition of the equipment, facilities and site utilized in connection with the Program. Nonetheless, I assume all risks, known or unknown to me, relating to my participation in the Program and any events incidental to the Program, as well as my travel to and from the Program.

For myself, my heirs, representatives, executors, administrators, successors, insurers and assigns, do hereby release, acquit, and forever discharge Rise Gatherings, its creators their heirs, representatives, agents, executors, administrators, successors, insurers and assigns, and any and all other persons, firms, and corporations of and from any and all claims, causes of action or suits of any kind or nature whatsoever, both known and unknown, relating to my participation in the Program and any events incidental to the Program.

COVID-19 Policy: 

Rise Gatherings is committed to keeping the safety of our retreat attendees clearly in focus at all times while creating meaningful and fun retreat experiences. Throughout the pandemic, Rise has been and will continue to rely upon CDC and state/local requirements and recommendations around COVID-19 safety. 

Force Majeure: 

In the event anything happens at a Rise Gatherings Program or the Event is cancelled, directly or indirectly as a result of an any act of god, acts of terrorism, natural disaster, inevitable accident, fire, strike, lockout, or other labor dispute, riot or other civil commotion, act of public enemy, enactment, rule, order or act of government or governmental instrumentality (federal, state or local), epidemics, pandemics or outbreak of communicable disease, quarantines, failure of the Facility, or other cause of a similar or different nature not within Rise Gatherings’ control, Rise Gatherings shall not be responsible in any way for anything whatsoever, including without limitation, death, injury, property, and travel. The aforementioned  notwithstanding, with respect to a Force Majeure cancellation of the Event, Rise Gatherings, in its sole and absolute discretion, may provide ticket purchasers with a comparable substitute event to attend as scheduled by Rise Gatherings at the original location or a replacement location as determined in the sole discretion of Rise Gatherings, and subject to price increases/decreases in the event of increased or decreased costs resulting from the changed itinerary.

Photography

I understand that there may be photographs and/or videos taken during the Program, including photographs and/or videos of me. I agree that Rise Gatherings may use such photographs and/or videos, for any purpose, including publicity, promotional advertising, marketing, and other content.

Personal details:

By purchasing a Weekend Getaway 2024 ticket, you accept this website's privacy policy terms and understand that by providing your personal phone number you may receive a follow up call from a Rise Gatherings' team member. Your personal information will not be sold to any third party and will be kept in line with Rise Gatherings' standard privacy policy.

Ticket Adjustments:

Tickets may be upgraded or downgraded depending on availability. 

Refund Policy:

This policy extends to all reasons for cancellation, without exception. If you are concerned about the financial risk, we strongly recommend you purchase cancellation/trip insurance. Quotes to insure your Weekend Getaway ticket and travel costs per person start at $50 – check travelinsurance.com for rates. 

Registration made with a payment plan is subject to the terms of cancellation and transfers below.

This policy applies to any additional services purchased as Program add-ons.

Cancellations made prior to August 23, 2024 (at least 30 days in advance of the event):

Tickets may be transferred to another person* or the Rise Gatherings Scholarship Fund at no charge.

Tickets may be credited for 50% of purchase price toward a future Rise Gatherings Event.

*Transfer to recipient not complete until recipient completes full registration and any outstanding payment has been made (if applicable).

Cancellations made August 23-September 20, 2024 (<30 days prior to the event):

Tickets may be transferred to the Rise Gatherings Scholarship Fund 

If you do not attend, arrive late to or leave early from the Event no refund or credit will be issued.

COVID-19 Policy: 

Rise Gatherings is committed to keeping the safety of our retreat attendees clearly in focus at all times while creating meaningful and fun retreat experiences. Throughout the pandemic, Rise has been and will continue to rely upon CDC and state/local requirements and recommendations around COVID-19 safety. 

The three hour event takes place entirely outdoors. Rise Gatherings does not require vaccination or testing from Forest Bathing participants. 

Force Majeure: 

In the event anything happens at a Rise Gatherings Program or the Event is cancelled, directly or indirectly as a result of an any act of god, acts of terrorism, natural disaster, inevitable accident, fire, strike, lockout, or other labor dispute, riot or other civil commotion, act of public enemy, enactment, rule, order or act of government or governmental instrumentality (federal, state or local), epidemics, pandemics or outbreak of communicable disease, quarantines, failure of the Facility, or other cause of a similar or different nature not within Rise Gatherings’ control, Rise Gatherings shall not be responsible in any way for anything whatsoever, including without limitation, death, injury, property, and travel. The aforementioned  notwithstanding, with respect to a Force Majeure cancellation of the Event, Rise Gatherings, in its sole and absolute discretion, may provide ticket purchasers with a comparable substitute event to attend as scheduled by Rise Gatherings at the original location or a replacement location as determined in the sole discretion of Rise Gatherings, and subject to price increases/decreases in the event of increased or decreased costs resulting from the changed itinerary.

Tickets may be credited for 100% of purchase price toward a future Rise Gatherings Event.

Cancellations made 1-29 days in advance:

Tickets may be transferred  to the Rise Gatherings Scholarship Fund. 

If you do not attend, arrive late to or leave early from the Event no refund or credit will be issued.

Should you need to cancel, tickets are nonrefundable, but the following options are available to you:

Ticket may be transferred to another person* or the Rise Gatherings Scholarship Fund at no charge. (*Transfer to recipient not complete until recipient completes full registration and any outstanding payment has been made (if applicable).

50% of purchase cost may be credited toward a future Rise Gatherings event.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify, defend and hold Rise Gatherings and its agents and employees harmless from and against all liabilities, claims, judgments, liens, costs and expenses arising or resulting from participation in Rising Entrepreneur hereunder; the violation of any law, code or regulation by you; injury to or death of any person, or damage to any property, arising out of or in any way connected to your participation in Rising Entrepreneur. 

Video Recording

Classes will be recorded for course participant use only to review material or watch missed classes. You agree to being recorded during the class sessions for this purpose.
