The Rise Gatherings community has raised over $10,000 via our events and social media! We are over our goal of $10,000 which = 1,000 Days for Girls kits! For every ticket purchased to our Weekend Getaway, Rise Gatherings will fund one Days for Girls kit – which supplies a girl with reusable menstrual supplies that last for 7 years.

There are girls across the world that are missing five school days a month because they lack proper menstrual care. This affects their ability to receive and even complete their education and elicits embarrassment around their period. Basic hygiene that many of us take for granted can completely change a growing girl’s life by helping her break the cycle of poverty and live with dignity.
Days for Girls is committed to supporting a girl throughout her entire lifecycle, from providing her with a Days for Girls Kit, to teaching her health education, to offering training for her when she grows older, so that she can produce Days for Girls Kits and support hygiene needs in her community. Rise aligns with Days for Girls’ three pillars, here’s how we’re giving back:

Through volunteers and partnerships like ours, Days for Girls is working to shift how women and girls see themselves and are seen by their communities. They offer girls and women new life choices and spur narrative change by providing sustainable hygiene solutions, health education, and income-generating opportunities. These initiatives empower women with confidence and freedom; the means to believe and achieve.
